How we keep Pawrennial free, and how we choose what we recommend.
The short version
Pawrennial is free to use. To keep it that way, some pages include links to products and services from partner companies. If you buy or sign up through one of those links, we may earn a commission. It never costs you anything extra.

How we choose what to recommend
- It has to fit your pet. We only show a suggestion when it matches your pet's life stage, for example comfort products for senior dogs or insurance for younger ones. We show one or two at most.
- Our tools come first. Partners never change the numbers our calculators give you. Those come from the sources on our methodology page.
- Safety beats sales. Health and safety advice, like contacting a vet in an emergency, always comes before any recommendation.
- We label it. Recommendations are marked, and partner links are tagged as sponsored for search engines.
Sponsors
Sometimes a brand may sponsor one of our tools. Sponsored tools are clearly labeled, and sponsors have no say over how the tool works or what it tells you.
